DIY Calendula Salve Kit
DIY Calendula Salve Kit Contents:
- 1 oz. Biodynamic Calendula herb
- 1 oz. Beeswax Pellets
- 8 oz. Glass Jar with lid
- Custom Product Label
- Homemade Calendula Salve Recipe Card
Things you’ll need that are not included in this kit:
- Mason jar and your choice of oil for soaking
DIY Calendula Salve Recipe:
1 oz. Dried Biodynamic Calendula Flower
3/4 cup Oil ( jojoba, olive oil, or coconut oil recommended)
1 oz. Beeswax
10 drops Essential Oil (optional)
Instructions:
- Pack a clean jar with dried calendula, cover with oil to top of jar. Make sure the flower is completely submerged to prevent mold
- Place covered jar in a bright spot for 4-6 weeks to infuse
- Shake jar daily
- After the oil has infused, strain out calendula flower
- Gently warm oil on stovetop and add beeswax
- Stir until completely melted and combined
- Add essential oil if desired
- Pour salve into clean jars and allow to cool
- Store at roome temperature in a cool, dark place
- Salve should keep for 6 to 12 months with proper storage and use
