Monsanto Found Guilty!

“The verdict is in, and Monsanto is found guilty on all counts!”

When we got that news from the Organic Consumers Association an hour ago, Ruth (our fantastic social media manager) wrote back that we’d spread the word – and then asked, “IS THIS REAL LIFE?!”

That’s how a lot of us feel about Monsanto finally facing a modicum of justice after getting away with countless travesties. But the truth is that, yes, this is for real!

It’s something to celebrate—and you can read all about it here:

As one of our friends over at the OCA commented, “Shit is about to change.”

Bring it on!

That’s huge! I just kind of figured they were too rich and influential to be successfully sued. Wow! I’m going to share this on my Facebook group.

I am so amazed too! Like WOW… It really does lift your spirits – they are so big and oppressive…. The OCA and founder Ronnie Cummins have just been dogging them forever and it finally came through. BTW< I did an interview with Ronnie at our last Summit, and I think we have another one to run in our next upcoming Summit this fall. I guess Monsanto will appeal and it will go to the Supreme Court??? I am not that knowledgable in law and how all that goes.

Monsanto will appeal the ruling, not sure about bringing it to the Supreme Court but they have the capability to keep it in court for decades..thats all they have to do its unfortunate but that is how the system works.

    Oh….happy day!

  • Michael (Farmer Brown) Dirrim says:

How many farmers, employees and neighbors connected to Monsanto had to die before they finally take a hit? I mean, what’s the human death toll? What is the ecological cost? I’ve read some material, but wonder at the overall numbers. They’ve got to be huge.

    EPIC News!!!

Thanks for sharing this on Monsanto. So sad what Lee and family have to go through. But finally Monsanto is having its day of reckoning. Wonder how Bayer likes its new merger now…

Considering what big corporations get away with I was surprised that they were held responsible. Finally!

Thank you for posting the great news, Marjory. I hope this lays the groundwork for the end of Monsanto. It is a wicked, satanic company that would do this to people.
