About the Speaker:

For James’ the magic started when he was 4 years old and his dad showed him how to plant a garden.

As James grew up he was disturbed by the disharmony and destruction caused by the industrial world and decided to do something about it.

James is a humble student of Permaculture and traveled all the way to Australia to study with Bill Mollison himself (the founder of Permaculture) and Geoff Lawton and draws most of his fire and inspiration from the work of activist/farmer Joel Salatin.

He’s invited several times per year to teach his innovative growing method at Earthship Biotec8ture, the most radically sustainable architecture company in the world, based in Taos New Mexico.

While James lives in Colorado, he secretly wishes he were back developing a remote permaculture retreat in Brazil bathing in coconut water and spending time with friends.
