Check out how eating insects is becoming the latest thing among those dedicated to looking good and partying all night. Cassandra (the t.v. host) is totally into it. And by the time it was over, with all the viewers tweeting in, the avalanche of comments and emails, it was crazy good fun.
Someone did remind us there are worms in the bottom of tequila bottles.
Fortunately we brought enough insects for the whole cast and crew. They stayed on for quite a while after the show eating bugs and taking photos of themselves and teasing the one woman who held out until she also caved and enjoyed a mealy worm.
San Antonio Fox TV totally rocks!

Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence.
Ms Wildcraft – it might be that it is because I woke up late and wasn’t feeling too good anyhow, but I only made it through about 3:33 minutes of this video until I felt like I might not ever eat again. Had to turn it off, as I was starting to feel sicker to my stomach the more I saw. I like most of the things on your blog, but eating bugs, well, I have to pass on that one.
BTW – when I was a kid growing up in Austin, in the 1950s, my dad brought home some fried grasshoppers that had been served at a party he had gone to, and I took them to school with me for show n tell. BUT never felt any inclination to taste them, nor did any of my friends. I think he also had some candied ants, I cannot still remember if they had chocolate on them, but vaguely think they did.
OK Gena, just hang out for the other stuff then… LOL
fun!
and informative.
