About the Speaker:

Anne-Marie (but her friends call her “Dash”) always wanted to live out in the country, but when that didn’t happen, she decided to “Bloom where she was planted” in a suburban 1/3 acre lot in Dallas, TX.  Dash grows a lot of the food for her family including tons of veggies, rabbit meat, eggs, and honey.  Having very little money to work with, Dash is an expert at thinking outside of the box and making something out of nothing.  Dash is a first child of God and hopes to glorify Him with all she says and does.  Her urban homestead has become the epicenter of an active community and a wonderful demonstration of how to grow food in an urban area.
