Robert Kourik has been a landscape architect for more than 25 years. In 1986 he wrote the landmark book “Designing and Maintaining Your Edible Landscape Naturally”.  Realizing how important the “underground” life of plants is, he developed a fascination for root systems.  Robert has authored several books including “Drip Irrigation”, “Roots Demystified”, and his latest book “Understanding Roots”.
